Ruthin School are pleased to announce ‘Y Talent Award’, curated by the world-renowned contemporary artist Yue Minjun. This visual arts award celebrates creativity and innovation among young artists, and we invite your students to showcase their talents.

Award Details:

  • Any visual art form.
  • Any theme.
  • Students aged 13 – 18 years.
  • Free Entry.
  • Opens Monday, 11th March with a deadline of Friday, 12th April 2024

Prizes
• The ‘Y Talent Award’ Grand Prize winner will receive £5,000
• in cash and a 10-day Art Residency at the breathtaking retreat and landscape of ‘Twelve Behind’ located in Guizhou, China worth £5,000. Twelve Behind is a dramatic landscape of waterfalls, mountains and boasts the longest cave system in Asia. It is famous
• for its stunning beauty and a place where artists gather from across the world to be inspired and create work.
• Ten Y Talent nomination prize winners will receive a 10-day
• Art Residency in the beautiful retreat and landscape of ‘Twelve Behind’, located in Guizhou, China.
