I am delighted to share with you a few updates and some information concerning Rydal Penrhos.

We are delighted of course that the situation in regard to the pandemic has been changing and we have been able to resume more normal school life here at Rydal Penrhos, which in our case involves lots of adventures and outdoor activities, drama, music, clubs and sports.  We have also been celebrating university destinations and examination results and the role we play as part of the community.

As a picture paints a thousand words, I am attaching our latest infographic of our activity covering the period for September through to the present. As you can see, it’s been a busy few months with many clubs, groups and associations coming to Rydal Penrhos to hire our facilities. As we move into the summer months, we are looking forward to evenings spent watching cricket, weddings being celebrated in the newly refurbished Osborn Hall and a host of music and drama events taking place across the site. As ever, we are excited to host community groups and teams and to facilitate matches, rehearsals and productions for a diverse range of community groups. Click here… for more information

Easter Revision Courses – Open to all young people

It is also time once again for normal physical examinations to take place for both GCSE, iGCSE and A levels and we are preparing our pupils very thoroughly for this both with revision and examination guidance and techniques as well as intensive revision courses over the Easter holiday. We are also throwing this open to the wider community. So if you have children or know of children whom you think would benefit from some focussed intensive revision help over the Easter period, along with expert advise on how to revise and how to sit exams then please read all about these courses we are holding. They have very limited places as we want a maximum of 10 pupils to each teacher and are only for the core subjects of Maths, English and Science at GCSE level.
